Use the NGRT Interactive Group Report for Teachers to review headline data
- What percentage of students are reading below, in line or above age-related expectations (use Standard Age Scores)?
- Look through your key groups – do you have any discrepancies at group level?
- Triangulate your data to get the full meaning - do you look at behaviour data alongside NGRT scores?

- Which profiles do the majority of students sit in? Are you confident teachers know how to support those students in the classroom?
- Do your plans fit with the group’s needs ? For example, if many students need comprehension support, is that a focus in staff development?

Work with other stakeholders such as your SENCO to review individual profiles of strength and challenge. Are you confident the right level of support is in place for reading with these students? Are all students challenged with their reading? Does there need to be any further investigation of need?

Disseminate key data/information to stakeholders to inform teaching and learning decisions, strategies and interventions. What information is going to be most useful? SAS? Reader profile information?
