Join us for an engaging session on "Linking research, evidence, and pedagogy to support EAL and SEND learners." In this session, we will start by establishing basic knowledge related to data measures, metrics, and standardized assessment in just 5-10 minutes. We'll then delve into collaborative interpretation of data, exploring what leaders should be looking for in their data and how this influences pedagogy, with a focus on assessments like CAT4, PASS, and NGRT. We'll address common misconceptions about data usage and generate dummy dashboards for group analysis. Finally, we'll engage in mock learning walks, introducing CAT4 LG & RSP assessments and discussing strategies for integrating them into teacher practice through CPD. Get ready to explore what effective support for EAL and SEND learners looks like in the classroom!
Suhail's parents really appreciated myON because it enabled them to support him even though they weren't native English speakers themselves.
